THE RIGHT care from the right people
At the right time

Our holistic approach to care means that when your needs change, your care provider doesn’t have to.

With over 70 years of medical experience between us, we know that when you need care support, being in your own home is best for your wellbeing.

Care Hub is different to other care providers. By combining the latest compassionate technology with our experience of complex home care, we meet the full spectrum of care needs.

Our approach to domiciliary care allows you to be at home, no matter what your needs are or how they change, with us by your side.

We offer a remote monitoring service, which is completely non-invasive and involves placing subtle sensors around your home. These sensors monitor your activity and patterns of behaviour and alert us when something changes.

Our health professionals respond to any changes that may indicate an illness or problem.

The technology offers peace of mind for you and your loved ones and helps to keep you safe at home.

With access to a greater range of care, we can be with you all the way. We want you to think of us as your care partner not just your care provider.

Highly qualified team

With active clinical professionals, registered nurses and medical support on our team, you can trust us with your care.

We believe in continuous learning and our carers undergo regular training to maintain our high standards.

Care Hub care packages are designed to careful match the specific needs of each of our client’s needs. That’s why we take the time to get to know you and understand how we can help.

A typical Care Hub and client relationship starts as follows:

Once you’ve contacted us, we’ll come and meet you. We’ll talk about the sort of care you need; explain the range of services we provide and build a picture of how we can help you.

We’ll design a detailed care package that’s just for you and focuses on making a positive improvement to your health and wellbeing. We will discuss the package with you to make sure you’re happy and understand everything that’s in it.

The Care Hub team members we choose to support you are matched to your needs. We will introduce them to you and make sure they fully understand the specifics of your care package and meet your needs.

Your relationship with Care Hub is important to us so we will check in with you regularly to make sure everything is going well and make any changes that might be needed.

Whether you are managing a long-term illness or want to improve your general mobility, balance, and strength, our physical therapy support can help you.

Maintain your flexibility, strength, and endurance at a pace that suits you. Our approach is tailored to your needs and goals.

We offer the support of group sessions or the privacy that solo therapy provides. We can come to your home or meet at one of our therapy venues too.

The entire Care Hub team is frequently tested for coronavirus and we will always wear full protective equipment to keep you safe during your therapy.

Care Hub is a registered nurse-led service and all our physical therapy sessions come with the added benefit of registered nursing oversight and guidance.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a question that isn’t answered on our website or in this FAQ, please get in touch and we will try our best to provide a response.

How much does it cost?

All our care packages are bespoke and designed to meet the individual needs of each client. That makes it hard for us to give any indication of costs before we speak with you. The best thing to do is to get in touch.

How quickly can you start providing care?

We’ll aim to meet with you as soon as is possible after you’ve made an initial enquiry. We’ll then do our best to work to your timeframe and start providing care as soon as it’s needed.

What levels of care can you provide?

At Care Hub, we meet the full spectrum of care needs. This could mean weekly support with shopping to 24-hour care.

Our smart technology means we can provide care without even needing to be in your home.

What can I expect from your team?

Your safety and wellbeing are what matters most. All our team are Disclosure and barring Service (DBS) checked. They are also either RQF, QCF or NVQ trained or are on the pathway to gaining those accredited qualifications. Our employees receive regular specialist training.

Care Hub is an equal opportunity employer.

Will you help me with housework?

If you need help with housework, we can include this in your bespoke care package.

Will you drive me to appointments and the shops?

All our team are required to have clean driving licenses and can drive you to wherever you need to be. They can take you in your car – on the provision that it is well-maintained – or in their own car at the cost of petrol.

Will you help me with my medication?

Any help with medication must be outlined in your care package. Our team is not able to support you in administering any medication that isn’t detailed in your plan.

What if I don’t like my carers?

We ask our clients to let us know about any problems or concerns they may have.

The Care Hub team members we choose to support you are matched to your needs and if that’s not working for you, we’ll do what we can to fix it.

Will I always have the same person caring for me?

We do our best to make sure you receive care from familiar faces and from people who are matched to your specific needs.

When there will be a change – due to sickness or holidays for example – we will always let you know in advance.

Initially Mum was very nervous about changing agencies but she was very soon at home with the new team.

The biggest change we have seen is in Mum’s personality. We sincerely believe this is because she is now well cared for and cared for professionally.

The biggest change for us has been the ease of effective communication with CareHub. Being able to contact CareHub easily adds to the sense that this a professional agency.

We have only deep gratitude for the quality of care and the quality of life that CareHub is giving to Mum. You are the yardstick that all the agencies on the island should be measured against.

“Until you came along, all I had was worry, dissapointment ending with total mistrust of the care system in general.

You and your company have changed all of that and I now feel secure i my mother’s future and care. I am now able to just enjoy her company. I am truly grateful. my faith in care is restored.”
